Antartica was coined to mean "opposite to the arctic", and it's nearly twice the size of US. The climate between Antartica and Arctic is very different. In fact, Antartica 30 degrees colder than Arctic. The other difference is the land animal and plants of the two region. on the Antartica there are very few plants, but there are many in Arctic.
Ice is the great feature in Antartica. Antartica is the storehouse of about 85 percent of the total world supply of ice. if this volume of ice were to melt, the oceans would rise.extreme atmospheric changes would have to take place for this to happen.
